Covid-19 – Court Visitors
During this period, please consider whether it is necessary for you to attend inquests at the court. If you are keen to attend an inquest in person, please contact your Coroner’s Officer in advance.
Due to the current pandemic many of the inquests listed will be remote access hearings with participants attending remotely and only the coroner sitting in Court.
Be assured that we are working hard to progress cases as normal and we will keep you informed of any changes.
Covid-19 – Correspondence
Officers are now working remotely and will not be able to receive any correspondence sent by post or courier. Please email or scan any future correspondence. We will be unable to access any documents sent by post or courier.
Coroner’s Court Support Service
An inquest can be a traumatic experience for anyone involved. If you would like to speak to someone before attending an inquest, either remotely or in person, the Coroner’s Court Support Service offer emotional support and practical advice about the inquest process.
